Rules for Commenting

Thoughts Of An American Woman advises everyone that they are individually responsible for unlawful, harassing, libelous, abusive, threatening, or harmful material of any kind or nature posted through respective ISPs.  Since this is a Christian blog for families and friends, we request that you do not post inappropriate material or comments.  When you are submitting pictures of anyone or articles you must have permission from that person to post their picture and any detailed personal information. 

For prayer requests, it is required to use first name or initials only and to keep it general, no details are permitted.  It is to protect the privacy of the person needing the prayer.

Thoughts Of An American Woman desires this blog remain suitable for general audiences, and we ask patrons to refrain from using profane or vulgar expressions; NO profanity of any type or for any reason will be allowed.  Thoughts of An American Woman asserts our right to delete objectionable comments, and to ban individuals who refuse to comply with these rules. However, our decision not to delete comments does not constitute endorsement of, or agreement with, any stated opinion.

Thoughts of An American Woman is a Christian blog and respect the different Christian denominations  It is allowed to speak of your denominations as long as you are not disrespectful to other denominations.  This blog is to encourage others; to build others up and not to tear down – so it would be helpful if all comments be kept to the encouragement of others and in speaking freely in a respectful manner to anyone else using this blog.

  1. Patty – I fell in love with your amazing photo of the Edelweiss with a tint of blue in the background. May I re-use it? Its perfect. I will give you credit but I will need your last name to do so. I am opening a site in the coming weeks selling organic cosmetics and the make up contains edelweiss extract which is a potent antioxidant for the skin. . Please let me know. I streamed through a ton of Edelweiss photos but yours is unique. (nucomplexion@gmail.com)

    My father was WWII (as you know on my site), my uncle was USMC for 20 years, my cousin Navy during Cuban Missile Crisis, aunt was civilian Marine employee and last but still heavy on my heart – my only child, ichael, was USMC during the 1st Gulf War and killed over here at Camp Lejune.
